The city of Atlanta is currently covered in ice following a rash of syncs symbolically connecting the city to a phoenix rising from the fire (see my previous post Atlanta Snowpocalypse and The Hunger Games).
On February 12th news headlines declared Atlanta and other parts of the deep South to be "Frozen In" and shrouded in darkness without electricity thanks to Winter Storm Pax.
Yet, despite its name's Latin meaning Winter Storm Pax is not bringing peace but a sword. The head gamemaker is dead and real life hunger games ensue as Atlantans struggle for access to food, transportation, and heat in the unseasonably cold weather.
Meanwhile, "Girl on fire" Jennifer Lawrence is on set filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay in Atlanta while simultaneously the movie Frozen continues its reign at the top of the movie and Billboard music charts.
This dissonant clash of opposites in fire and ice has all the hallmarks of an alchemical marriage.

Notice the movie's Fire and Ice imagery during the dialogue between Theodore and Samantha as their relationship transmutes:
Fellow synchronaut @strangeeye noted how the pattern in the releases of the movies Frozen and Noah implies melting.
Many of us are individually undergoing the turbulent reconciliation of our inner opposing forces at this time. We are painfully growing, changing, transcending ourselves.
And, as a result, our inner drama is playing out on the outer level through the Collective Consciousness via the weather mechanisms of the Polar Vortex.
Philip K. Dick wrote of a Vortex which equals us with our minds freed from illusion...a Vortex of the will.
"I can come to no other conclusion. Reality is a field onto which our senses have falsely locked and which now coerces us and must be demonstrably broken from outside in a way in which we can witness. ("a perturbation in the reality field, a VORTEX).
The vortex seemed an extension of me-as-a-field, or at least close to me: tangent to me — and also in me: a presence which entered me from outside, bringing with it a non-me personality. It attacked this world on my behalf to unchain me and to reveal to me the truth and to aide and extricate and inform me and speak for me as if it were me, disguised as me."—Philip K. Dick, Exegesis, Folder 11, pg. 462
And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills
